Wow! The Art Space awards night was fantastic! We had a great turn out and hopefully everyone had a good time.

A whole heap of certificates and prizes were given out with the grand prize of a $50 voucher drawn right at the end - the lucky recipient was Shinji, a very talented young artist. I'm sure he'll make good use of the voucher. Thank you Brandors!

Not too many photos to show though as I was far too busy having a good time to stop and get the camera out, but Lea from the Advocate was there - so look out for the next edition of the paper!

EXCITING NEWS! Art Space entries that were in the Central Gallery will be displayed at OFF THE RAILS for 4 to 6 weeks from the 10th of August. If you have taken your picture home I will be contacting you during the holidays; if you did not take your painting home it is safe and sound at South Johnstone State Preschool, where it can stay until it goes to OFF THE RAILS in August. Paintings hung at OFF THE RAILS can be marked "For Sale" if you want.
