A sticky morning with Meredith making puppets and critters out of Papier Mache. 10am to 12:30pm, $12 per session, refreshments and materials included.

Please note: Workshops are for children aged 6 years and over and need to be booked and paid for one week in advance as places are limited. Children must have footwear and be dressed in clothes that they can get messy in.

Kurrimine Beach

Blessing of the Waters
Come and witness a 60 year old tradition at Kurrimine Beach. As part of the Feast of Theophany, the Greek Orthodox community will be gathering at Taifalos Park, Kurrimine Beach, on Sunday for the "Blessing of the Waters" service at 11am. This involves the Priest throwing a cross into the water and then swimmers try to recover the cross. The person who gets the cross first and returns it to the priest, receives a special blessing for good fortune throughout the year.

Come join us for a PHOTO SHOOT to help with a grant application. The Community Garden development group is asking for ANYONE with some free time on FRIDAY 23RD at 4PM to come and join us and pose for a group photo at Warrina Lakes where the community gardens used to be.

This is a great opportunity to do something good for the community, and you won't have to do anything except smile for the camera!
