Just Sing It: Motown
Come along to the East Innisfail State Pre-School Building on Mourilyan Road at 6pm on Wednesday evenings to sing for fun.

This term the group will learn and perform a great set of motown songs from the 60's.Be ready to bop and sing along, make new friends and have some fun!

ART SPACE IS NOW ON WEDNESDAYS NOT THURSDAYS!!!

Art Space at South Johnstone State Preschool is on every Monday & Wednesday after school from 3.30pm - 6pm for kids under 16 and 6 - 9pm for adults.
$10 per person per session.

All materials provided.

Activities for kids include: Drawing (chalk, pencils, crayons, pastels), painting (poster, water, acrylic) on paper or canvas, paper mache creations, clay work, splatter paintings, making playdoh & facepaints, + henna mini-tattoos.

Reveg Nursery Open
Open 8am-12pm Thursdays, join our friendly group of volunteers to pot up native trees for community planting (morning tea provided) or purchase trees ONLY $2 PER POT! for your own reveg project. Everyone welcome.

Young Parents Playgroup
Young Parents Playgroup meet each Friday morning at the East Innisfail State School (old Preschool building) along Mourilyan Road East Innisfail. Playgroup begins at 9 and finishes around 11.30am. Yearly membership is FREE!

RHAPSODY IN BLUE
PARADISE CONCERTS presents RHAPSODY IN BLUE, a programme including performance of the All-American jazz-inspired classic as well as timeless music and songs of Gershwin, Kern, Copland and Ravel.

Joining Benjamin Martin on the concert stage will be soprano Joy Power Cleary, as well as violinist Kirtley Leigh Paine. Joy will sing such classics as "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Summertime". Kirtley offers a violin and piano collaboration with Benjamin to include selections from Gershwin's Porgy & Bess and An American in Paris.

iDBDS Dancing Competition
We have our annual dancing competition for 9 days. it commences on the friday before the may long weekend on an annua basis and finishes on the next Saturday Night. this competiton encompases all ages form under 6 years to open ages and allows for solo, duo, trio and group presentations over the modern, ballet and tap disciplines. we have an adjuciator employed for these 9 days and have 3 sessions a day commencing at 0830, 1330 and 1930 hours. volunteers are required for chairperson, ticket sekking, food hostess, ushering, music playing and back stage duties with each of these sessions.

Tully Golden Gumboot Festival
Tully's reputation for being "A Pretty Wet Place" is celebrated each year at the Golden Gumboot Festival. The 'Gumboot Games' are a major feature of this family oriented festival, along with a float parade, Golden Girl Quest and a big afternoon of entertainment, music, displays, Children's activities and food & market stalls. The Gumboot Festival is Tully's major annual festival and each year a community organisation or a community project is selected to benefit from the festival proceeds.
